Then the challenge is to address the increasing economic stagnation of those areas without electing a right-wing-pussy-grabbing-authoritarian-establishment-asset-stripper as prez.

It's not really in the power of the president to create jobs in this manner. They can tinker a little with taxes. They could take the cost of healthcare off employers, many of whom pay a half or more. We could do this by putting us all on Medicare.

Hillary was going to retrain people, Bernie was going to give free college.

But the changes in the jobs come from the private sector. Some old industry will go bankrupt. New will start. The government can lend money.

Without Obamacare, many new small businesses will go bankrupt.

Huge corporations get Trump welfare. They need to stand on their own.

It's possible for heads of corporations and a leader to run a country. The Asian Tigers like Singapore and S Korea did this. But it only works in a developing economy. China did sort of that too.

People work long hours in those countries. Vacation is a recent concept in S Korea.

But do you really want Trump to run America like he's run his businesses?

I don't want Trump to run anything. I don't plan to stay at a Trump hotel and I will not go anywhere near Las Vegas. He might get some part of my dollar without me knowing.

PLAN: get Trump out in 2 years. Have him spend the remainder of his 5-10 years of life playing golf wearing the stupid red hat.

A few weeks ago a mate and I were talking about Trump and he was of the belief that Trump was probably dyslexic.

Well he has big problems. With all that money he probably never needed to actually read. Education would have paid for. He always has plenty of advisors around him. His son also has problems apparently.

I guess if he does have dyslexia he's off the generation to be ashamed of it. Might be why he Seemed to have a hate-hate relationship with the autocue as well.
"By the way, these teleprompters haven’t been working for the last 20 minutes and I actually like my speech better without teleprompters. And this way what I like about it -- " he told the crowd, breaking off as he knocked over the first teleprompter. "You know what, I like it better without the teleprompters. And I notice every time I look up, they're trying, it's trying, it's straining, it's straining.

"Hey get this thing out of here will you?" he continued. "Get it out. I like it much better without the teleprompter."

He later approached the other and began to take it apart.

Trump told the audience he wouldn’t pay the company for providing the machines.

#fakenews is getting really desperate when the latest conspiracy is Trump can't actually read. :fp:

Maybe Trump should prove he can read, by flying to Hawaii and reading Obama's original birth certificate live on TV. Assuming they can find it :hehe:

Trump hacked the election, impeach now

Russians

and now the truth comes out that Trump organization communicated with Russia
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/201 ... sia-report
US investigators have confirmed parts of the 35-page batch of memos compiled by a former British spy, CNN reported Friday afternoon. The memos, first written about by Mother Jones in October 2016, contained allegations of collusion between officials working for Donald Trump during the presidential campaign and Russian government operatives, and allegations that the Russian government was working to harm the candidacy of Hillary Clinton and boost Trump.

CNN
Spicer later called back and said, "This is more fake news. It is about time CNN focused on the success the President has had bringing back jobs, protecting the nation, and strengthening relationships with Japan and other nations. The President won the election because of his vision and message for the nation."
Spokespeople for the FBI, Department of Justice, CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment.
US intelligence officials emphasize the conversations were solely between foreign nationals, including those in or tied to the Russian government, intercepted during routine intelligence gathering.
Some of the individuals involved in the intercepted communications were known to the US intelligence community as "heavily involved" in collecting information damaging to Hillary Clinton and helpful to Donald Trump, two of the officials tell CNN.
Until now, US intelligence and law enforcement officials have said they could not verify any parts of the dossier.
Officials who spoke to CNN cautioned they still have not reached any judgment on whether the Russian government has any compromising information about the President.
Officials did not comment on or confirm any alleged conversations or meetings between Russian officials and US citizens, including associates of then-candidate Trump.
