Mandates. We don't need no stinking mandates.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

Unvaccinated who have insurance may get benefit. The drug would still require testing and the gov't is likely to stop free testing. Depends on your county.
“We were hoping that we had something extraordinary, but it’s rare that you see great drugs come through with almost 90% efficacy and 100% protection for death,” said Dr Mikael Dolsten, Pfizer’s chief scientific officer, in an interview.

Study participants were unvaccinated, with mild-to-moderate Covid, and were considered high risk for hospitalisation due to health problems such as obesity, diabetes or heart disease. Treatment began within three to five days of initial symptoms, and lasted for five days.

Therefore the virus will still kill Trumpsters who are afraid to go to the doctor. A lot of them.

How about the number of families that are bankrupted by health care. I was in A&E two days ago and it did not cost me anything. Americans will never understand. I remember Seth on RD forum trying to justify the American system. He did not have insurance. It was so pathetic.

I haven't paid for any health care for the last 2 1/2 years. The trick is to live long enough to retire.

Sweden (no mask mandates, no lockdowns) has negative excess deaths since January 2020. Truly a beacon for the world.

Bullshit.

Not only that, Sweden is not doing all that well suppressing the spread of infections in comparison to the European Union.

Covid survivor, 71, got info from social media

Sells said he has already lost friends over his recent advocacy for vaccines, but it's worth it.
"They don't know what I now know," he said. "We've got to get the word out so that we can get our hospitals back and slow down the rate of deaths."

Happy to help.

And number of cases/infections is meaningless for comparison purposes. Excess deaths is the one true measure here.

wishful thinking ....
Norway and Finland have experienced far milder first and second waves of Covid-19 than Sweden, which has been an exception in Europe in eschewing a formal lockdown and the use of face masks.

Sweden has reported 1,400 Covid deaths in the past month compared with about 100 in Norway and 80 in Finland, each of which have half its population. Sweden reports deaths differently to the rest of Europe, which makes knowing their exact level difficult, but analysts at Nordea, the Nordic lender, believe they could be higher than their peak in April.

The region of Stockholm on Wednesday warned that 99 per cent of its intensive care beds were full, while healthcare unions have warned of large numbers of workers quitting as infections, hospitalisations and deaths continue to rise. About 3,600 health personnel have quit in the Stockholm region since the start of the pandemic, according to state broadcaster SVT, around 900 more than over the same period last year.

Same excess deaths. Your graph just shows that they are concentrated in the over 65 age bracket.
