You dont say. In this country it is something that has no worth. Just the idea that a super car is something to aim for is a total anathema and even if you had one it would have little effect.
The basic aim here; happiness and contentment for as many people as possible. Something socialist about that?

They have maxed out their allowance of top-up fuel vouchers from the Trussell Trust, so as the temperature drops below freezing, Courtney empties 45p-worth of coppers out of the china swan on the window sill to see if it’s enough to put the heating on while they wait for Cash Converters to open the next day so a phone can be pawned. “Baby,” says her mother wearily. “There aren’t enough there.”

Surely, you don't imagine that buyers of supercars purchase them in order to drive at the 200+ miles/hour speeds they are capable of. It's not at all about driving a supercar. It's about being perceived to own an outrageously expensive set of wheels.

I do tend to resent any morons, however well meaning, who would prevent me from having a tot of booze whenever I feel like, and I tend to vote against fucking politicos who manoever to raise the price of alcoholic drink
