As far as Soldiers go, I don't feel much grief for them. They join up knowing that they will be called on to kill people, including the innocent, on orders from above. Getting killed is a chance they knowingly and willingly take. Our soldiers kill more innocent people than terrorists do.
I feel sorry for the relatives, not the soldier.
