I could make do just fine if society ground to a screeching halt tomorrow and none of those thousands (if not millions!) of people weren't doing their jobs. Would it be super-fancy? No. Would I have the luxury of debating about it on an internet message board? No. Would I be dressed up like Mel Gibson in The Road Warrior? You bet your ass I would.

All true, which justifies the expectation that I abide by the rules of a civilized society and pay my own way through life, which I do.

But none of it justifies demanding that I pay for more than what I actually use or consume by way of government services or private goods. I'm under no moral obligation to pay for anyone's support but my own and those I voluntarily accept financial responsibility for, which particularly does not include any dependent class slackers who have decided to leech off of government largess.
