Go ahead and ignore the fact that McCarthy was absolutely correct and spot-on with every single one of his accusations of Communist affiliation on the part of employees of the federal government, which was, and still is, grounds for dismissal from federal employment. I defy you to provide the name of a single person McCarthy accused who was not in fact a communist spy, agent, collaborator or fellow traveler who was a danger to the national security of the United States at the time by virtue of their position in the federal government.
