Philosophical question: Will anyone still believe a President's claims of "Fake news!" when his subordinates are being taken away in handcuffs?

The rwnj interpretation of events will just shift to "the deep state is at war with Trump".

Yes. Conspiracies are very popular among blue collar Trump voters. The most popular election belief: Hillary is going to take away my guns.

She should have. Thousands of conspiracy nuts out there.

If convicted on counts of fraud and tax evasion Manafort and Gates are going to lose all their assets and incur a prison term, perhaps of considerable duration. Against that prospect turning oneself in and 'helping' with the inquiry might seem like the best option but Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary....

Who does Manafort fear the most, the FBI or the KGB?

The Clinton Crime Sydicate of course.......

Tony Podesta steps down from lobbying firm after Manafort indictment......
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

It would be politically disastrous to sack Mueller at the moment - which is why FOX NEWS and The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post are making all the running with casting doubt on Mueller's integrity, citing each other as sources like they do. But what does Mr Murdoch and NewsCorp get in return?
