Solution for driverless cars in cities is easy: Manual drivers need special permits to enter the city. Very low allowed max speed for all cars. Limit the number of streets allowed for driverless cars. These streets must have clearly separated bike lanes.

The problem, as always, is British unionised labour.

Worker strikes are a good thing to regulate the relationship between workers and employers. When they happen, is not so good for the customers, but what would be the alternative?

The alternative is to shut up, do what you're told, and just be grateful you're not out in the cold with the scum.

Strikes are certainly a valid part of a union's armoury, but hopefully only used as a last resort if negotiations break down. Any industry where strikes are a regular and frequent part of the landscape is in trouble.

the government has total control over the management insofar that if the management makes decisions not appreciated by said government, it can summon a stockholders meeting to change the management.
