I prefer a soya mocha to a milk mocha - but I claim no moral superiority for my preference.

Almond Milk is a possible replacement for milk for people who don't want to drink milk for ethical reasons or because they cannot process Lactose. There are other vegan milk-alternatives like for example soy milk (But that some people are allergic too) or Lupin Bean Milk (That I predict will have a huge success over the next decades because its taste and texture is very close to cow milk and it can be produced very cost effectively)

Just ask an almond milk person why they don't just drink a glass of water and eat a handful of almonds....
A bit hard to pour that over the cereal...

Forty Two wrote:The almond milk proponents I've run into have all suggested that they want to avoid processed foods, and get a healthy milk alternative with the nutrition of almonds.

But, you have to drink about 6 cups of almond almond milk to get the same nutrition as 1 cup of almonds. And, it can't possibly be said that almond milk is not processed food.

So, I've said, why don't you eat a handful of almonds, and drink a glass of water. Totally unprocessed. No preservatives or "chemicals" (lol)..... no no, they say, almond milk is the way to go...

The point was that they think milk is processed, and almond milk a non-processed alternative.
