I think that with the improvement of performance enhancing drugs, it is pretty damned likely that every new record set, is set by an 'enhanced' athlete.

I love some athletic pursuits, but don't really care who is best on Earth. Since the IOC really shows the true 'Olympic Spirit' in how they pursue copyright infringement, I don't have much interest.

Chinese swimming sensation Fu Yuanhui has earned plaudits back home for breaking the sporting taboo of discussing menstruation.

Holy crap, just inadvertantly watching some synchronised swimming and there was a seriously athletic move just performed. Like really fucking athletic in the kind of way that I couldn't even imagine how I or anyone I know could ever get to a stage of fitness and strength to complete. What the fuck is going on? Is sychronised swimming becoming an actual athletic event now?
