I'm sure you think you're exercising your freedom of speech here, but don't forget your freedom to deploy homophobic jokes with the effect of suppressing others is dependent on others' freedom of expression being suppressed in this forum. Because I would be arguing for the election of moderators who dip in to comment and express some disapproval in these circumstances. But to elect such moderators you need to change the system, and all proposals to change the system are off the table because if I make them I get accused by the powers that be of trolling. Of course, you could argue that my proposals would all be down-voted, that any moderators I proposed would not get sufficient votes, that any comments they make would not be effective, that I should do this and that and that the point I make is not a valid one. Argue what you like. I think you're deploying homophobia tactically here, for a tactical purpose which has a positive outcome for you. If homophobia serves a purpose for you in this instance, just remember that you're allowed to use it with the support and protection of the site owner and moderators and at the expense of those who might protest. That's the way Rationalia is skewed.
