Of course it doesn't. And, when Comey declined to prosecute, he was defending democracy and doing his job. Now, he's interfering with the election. All depends on whose ox is being gored.

Trump's "lies" are the typical political sales-puffery. He claims his policies will reduce the deficit, for example, when other people say that it's hogwash for him to say that.

Hillary lies flat out when she says that she had permission to use a server, did so only for convenience, that it was lawful to do it the whole time, that she ever sent or received classified documents, that she never sent or received documents marked classified, and that she turned over all work related emails to the FBI. Those are objective falsehoods, not exaggerations or puffery.

They all exaggerate their promises, and make promises of future performance which are not reliable in any way. Obama was a liar in that regard too. Bush was a liar in that regard too. Half the shit they promise they can't accomplish on their own, and some of it they should know damn well has little to no chance of ever passing the Congress, etc. But, that's all of them.
