Mescal is great, I also love tequila... in moderation by preference.

There is a cheaper drink than mezcal called pulque . I had one small glass and I was sick very sick.

of course it's cheaper, pulque is to mescal and tequila what wine is to brandy... except wine is good as is whereas pulque has to be distilled to be made drinkable.

disagree, good (reposado or añejo tequila is very good, silver tends to be harsh, but even then it's better than straight vodka.
