I'd like to see a link to that article posted above, because Google doesn't seem to be returning one when I search for that exact headline.

You won't because the article by Mick Krever and Tim Hume, CNN, Updated 1833 GMT (0233 HKT) May 11, 2016 has a totally different headline. It reads: London Mayor Sadiq Khan: 'I'm hoping' Trump doesn't win. The stuff Collector tries to palm off on us as news or dirt is neither. It's an utter forgery and a deliberate lie, but then that's the sort of thing I expect Collector to come up with. He's not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer.

The word 'Sharia' does not appear one single time in the article, nor can it be heard in the attached nine minute CNN interview. The Leitmotif that is being stressed and reiterated in both the article and the interview is in Khan's words:

"It is possible to be a Muslim and to live in the West. It is possible to be a Muslim and to love America," he said, adding that he himself loves the country.
"By giving the impression that Islam and the West are incompatible, you are playing into the hands of the extremists."

I think of Collector differently. To put it kindly, he's been excessively gullible. Or not so kindly, he's been deliberately attempting to spread a lie.

ETA: I can't find the image containing the lie anywhere. Unless Google simply has not yet caught up with its publication, there's a good chance that not only has he been deliberately attempting to spread a lie, but he also created it himself.
