Electing heads of political parties makes as much sense as electing officers in the army or electing the pilot of a jumbo jet.

Political parties are not democracies, they exist to win elections in one very different. It's certainly not going to be sufficient merely to get rid of Corbyn, the Labour party needs to get rid of 90% of its members. Perhaps a membership fee of say 5% of salary tax deductable if you want to join, ie put your money where your mouth is. Like all things in life is someone doesn't pay a real cost for something then they should be ignored

The age of consent here is sixteen which means that anyone who is that age or older can legally have sex with anyone else who is that age or older so
long as they have consented and there is no false pretence involved. Everything else is completely irrelevant. And so the age difference of the parties
involved matters not at all so a young woman fucking an old man is just the same as a young man fucking an old woman. If you think otherwise please
explain using only logic as to why that is. Though you will not be able to as you first have to make an argument from emotion given the subject matter

I do love how one can be entirely within the law yet be deemed guilty of immoral behaviour without any sense of irony whatsoever on the part of those
doing the moralising. Maybe then there should be a law prohibiting sex between anyone where the age difference is too high because that would be the
logical conclusion. Strange then how those who are morally compromised by this do not suggest it. It would still be wrong but it would make more sense

It's giving the illusion that the poor and students in a first world country have any influence on how the country should be won, its still an illusion as there aren't enough of them but it has basically reduced us to a 1 party state until Corbyn is removed. Basically Labour has become a student union not an alternative government.

Oh well its going to take a few years to destroy those hopes and dreams but it needs to be done

I sort of agree with MrJonno. I agree with a dictum mistakenly attributed to Winston Churchill: "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." In the last analysis, however, I disagree with him profoundly for the following reason, this time encapsulated in the actual words of Churchill: "Democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

No what it shows is that people suffer from cognitive biases that the media is well aware of and take great advantage of. It's the reason why most people identify largely with progressive policies when presented to them individually, but vote based on manipulation of well known cognitive biases. Well, they are well known to scientists, behavioural economists, advertisers and political campaign managers. Which you are clearly none of.
