It's a little more complicated than that. Politicians have resoirces to come up with rules and regulations. The public only has limited interest. On top of that a news story, say one on Covid, has a limited lifetime. So it dies and someone a month later reports how it really was. Then nobody cares anymore.

We had a class of one session for seniors on a polluting ethanol plant. Over 100 signed up some on Zoom.

There were some errors in it. I gave a class half a year later on that and two other pollution topics. Only 5 signed up. I only give clases in person, not Zoom. But still, not more than 10 would have had that level of interest.

Trust in experts has completely collapsed since 2016.

Alabama's upset. Thar state's rights* being infringed!!

'Federal Court Issues Scathing Unanimous Ruling Against Alabama After "Unlawfully" Reducing Power of Black Voters'
A three-judge federal court panel issued a scathing and massive 217-page unanimous ruling Tuesday against the Republican-majority Alabama legislature, which had defied a U.S. Supreme Court ruling ordering the state to draw up a new congressional map with two majority-Black districts. Lawmakers submitted a map they fully acknowledged included only one majority-Black district.

“We are disturbed by the evidence that the State delayed remedial proceedings but ultimately did not even nurture the ambition to provide the required remedy,” the judges wrote in a filing Tuesday, NBC News reports. “And we are struck by the extraordinary circumstance we face.”

“We are not aware of any other case in which a state legislature — faced with a federal court order declaring that its electoral plan unlawfully dilutes minority votes and requiring a plan that provides an additional opportunity district — responded with a plan that the state concedes does not provide that district,” the judges’ ruling states.

The judges ordered a special master be appointed who will create a “remedial map to ensure that a plan can be implemented as part of an orderly process in advance of elections, where the State was given an opportunity to enact a compliant map but failed to do so.”

CNN notes the three-panel court includes two Trump-appointed judges.

It is not enough for conservatives to win elections. If we are going to rescue the country from the grip of the radical Left, we need both a governing agenda and the right people in place, ready to carry this agenda out on Day One of the next conservative Administration.

This is the goal of the 2025 Presidential Transition Project. The project will build on four pillars that will, collectively, pave the way for an effective conservative Administration.
Collectively eh? Sounds a bit commie to me.

Boebert with new boyfriend learned to keep the penis inside the pants.

"The Colorado representative is divorcing her husband of 18 years, Jayson Boebert, who pleaded guilty in 2004 to exposing his penis to a 17-year-old in a bowling alley. The congresswoman filed for divorce in May, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. "

Jeff: Al Franken posed for a stupid photo and Democrats forced him to resign. Lauren Boebert got caught on video with her hand down her some guy's pants and Republicans are just going to pretend it never happened. this is why the rest of the world thinks we've lost our fucking minds

She didn't mean to hold that penis!

“I’m deeply thankful to those in the 3rd District who have defended me and reached out this week and offered grace and support when I needed it the most. I’ve learned some humbling lessons these past few days but I vow moving forward, I will make you proud,” she added.
