The 'when they go low we go high' thing just hands the agenda to the lowest of the low. The handful of far-righters and Trump loons resolutey digging their heals in are forcing everyone else to compromise without having to compromise themselves. There's little benefit for the Dems in facilitating the GOP majority. Colorado's healthcare system isn't on par with France, but is one of the best in the US.

In spite of Boebert, Colorado is a solidly blue state. Both Senators are Democrats, 5 of 8 Congressmembers are Democrats, Our Governor is a Democrat, and both houses of the State Assembly are controlled by Democrats.

Besides, I like the views.
