Hillary taxes have some relation to reality. Trump taxes will add a huge deficit. 4 years of Trump and we will be bankrupt.

If my two choices are more taxes or bankruptcy I'll vote Libertarian.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

What do you mean, "if"? You'll be voting Libertarian no matter what! ;)

Investors OK with her and planning Hillary future:

He said such a thesis would likely include government intervention in healthcare, particularly medicine prices, and little support for coal as an energy source.

S&P e-mini futures remained in a tight range throughout the debate, slightly higher than at the close on Friday.

“The market declared tonight’s debate a draw and has no more clue after debate than before, at least not in watching the S&P futures. Once again the debate was great theater, but did not give the market any insight," said JJ Kinahan, chief market strategist at TD Ameritrade.

"Despite the night’s civil ending, it was hard to glean much information, as a good part of the debate was simply a name-calling fest.”

Strategists in a recent Reuters equity poll mostly viewed an election victory on Nov. 8 by Clinton as more positive for the stock market through the end of the year, largely because her positions -unlike her opponent's- are well known.

You're bothered by a huge deficit? What of the $9 Trillion dollars in deficit spending over the last 7 years? Is there some reason that our tax policy, controlled by the Democrats, has not addressed this issue?

Clinton's plan would destroy the economy - http://www.investors.com/politics/edito ... ic-growth/

Almost 8 years of a Democrat President and the rich STILL are not paying their "fair share!" Well, that's understandable, because it's those damn Republicans, preventing the good, kind and compassionate Democrats from passing their eminently reasonable and rational tax policies. Democrats can't be expected to pass legislation without a supermajority in both the House and the Senate.

Obama had to double the national debt to fix the "Bush legacy?" Convenient.

So, in order to keep the economy running good, I supposed, Obama had to keep taxes lower than he would have liked, were it not for Bush? In other words, keeping taxes down helped the economy recover? Yes? No? Did the lower taxation rates have a negative impact on the economy, and things would have gotten even better if tax rates under Obama were what Hillary proposes?

They did. We have less $ to pay for Obamacare, since the private sector is again pulling out of healthcare other than corporate plans.

When you are running massive deficits, it doesn't take much thinking power to work out that lower revenue has a negative impact on the economy.

Shit, then I guess the lower taxes were not in there to help us recover from Bush, then, right? Since the current rates had a negative effect on the economy, and of course you can't blame Obamacare on Bush, now can you? Or can you? :thinks:

Did lower tax rates that the ones proposed by Hillary help the economy? If so, how? What good did those lower rates do, and if those lower rates did good, then why do you favor higher rates?

Then it would stand to reason that the lower rates were NOT, as Tero alleged, necessary to recover from Bush. If they actually made things worse, it's so obvious that they would make things worse due to the "running deficits" of which the President and every Democrat must have been aware, then why would they keep rates lower in order to help recover from Bush? They must have known they were making things worse - it's obvious - it doesn't take much thinking power.....right?

There are plenty of people who can afford to pay more personal tax. I disagree with Hillary on corporate, I would not raise corporate tax.

Obsession with tax is Republican party mantra. Europe survives well on higher tax, as it covers things like health care.

They are neoliberals. They don't care about the economy as a whole. They care about the top end of town.

Obama and Hillary -- neoliberals who cares about the rich. Got it. That's a good reason, I guess, to vote for Hillary over Trump. We need another neoliberal who cares about the top end of town.

How many times do I need to tell you I'm not a Hillary supporter? Does the written word enter your eyeballs and then just bounce around endlessly?
