https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/end-sig ... d=60119861Sources familiar with President Donald Trump's thinking tell ABC News he has drawn a red line of at least $2.5 billion in wall funding, a figure that Vice President Mike Pence and acting chief of staff had last presented to lawmakers as a potential compromise.
But asked during his Cabinet meeting whether he would accept less than $2.5 billion, Trump seemed to rule out the figure altogether.
"No, not $2.5, no," Trump said. "We're asking for $5.6. And you know, somebody said 2.5. No. This is national security we're talking about."

Not a penny less than 5.7 billion. What if we gave him 5.7 million for a fence. Would he notice?

Yes, I answered both your questions. Just not simple enough for you to comprehend. Sigh. I shall answer again, more down to your level, and I'll type the answers out slowly enough to ensure you can follow. Feel free to move your lips as you read. I promise I won't look, let alone laugh at you.Cunt wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 10:27 pmI didn't think you would answer.Hermit wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 10:13 pm
I don't have a 'hero of the left' because I am not a leftie. I like my policies to run down the middle of the road. What's generally known as a mixed economy - equidistant from the horrors of communism and laissez faire capitalism would suit me fine.
I imagine the Fourth International represented the left. Stalin killed it off with an ice pick.
In Australia there are two or three parties with very left wing policies. Their members are lunatics. Nevertheless, each party attracts around 200 to 300 votes at elections. They are not left wing enough to plot the violent overthrow of the capitalism, you see. They want to establish their Utopia from within the system. Unfortunately for them they keep splitting like amoebae, but on ideological rather than biological grounds.
Ready? OK. Here goes:
I have no hero of the left because I am not a leftie.

Oops. Looks like I could not answer in even simpler terms than I did before. But I answered using fewer words. Less chance of you getting confused and losing your way among so many letters.

Re: Individual-1, a joke or a threat? (talk Trump)
So it looks like (correct me if I'm wrong) the republicans in the US are 'right', and the democrats are 'left'.
In addition, you don't like the political left, or right.
I get it. You don't like admitting that the Democratic party represents the political left. It probably ruins some of your pre-conceived notions.
This started because I mentioned that Hillary was the hero of the 'left'. OK, I'll change it to 'the hero of the Democrats'.
Given that you could not make up your mind, I'll try to ask you a simpler question.
If you had to vote in the US, would you vote red, or blue?

Re: Individual-1, a joke or a threat? (talk Trump)
To me? No. The Republicans are a toxic mix of Randian libertarians, mewling evangelicals and social conservatives. The Democrats have been bought by Wall Street. Calling one 'right' and the other 'left' is missing the core(s) of their differences
Keeping in mind that communism is the left and laissez faire capitalism is the right, yes. I prefer a mix that goes straight down the middle between them.
It's not a matter of admitting that the Democratic party represents the political left. It is to the right of where I want to be. The Democrats represent the right. The Republicans are to the right of them. The political landscape in the US is lopsided. There is no left.
No. This started because there is no 'left' for whom Hillary Clinton, who is also not 'left' could be a hero of. But you fixed that by rephrasing your unfortunate sentence to 'the leader of the Democratic Party is the hero of the Democratic Party'. You've gone from nonsensical to meaningless, but that can be regarded as an improvement of sorts.
Green? Naw. Just kidding. I'd kill if that is what it would take to get me out of the country.
OK, OK, I hope you realise I wasn't serious again. If the 'New Democrats' get up (which I doubt) I'd probably vote for them. Otherwise I'd just throw my vote away by voting Green. If the US had preferential voting rather than FPTP, I'd just vote Green to begin with.

The Democrats don't think gays are possessed by demons. This means they are far-left.

Re: Individual-1, a joke or a threat? (talk Trump)
Here's a worrying thought: Trump wants to fund a huge building project with government money. Could that mean he's secretly become a communist? I mean the political right would insist on letting private enterprise handle this sort of thing. It is more efficient and probably turn it into a profit making undertaking. Sell advertising space on the wall, sniper training centres with real, live targets sneaking up from the south, that sort of thing.

They could even televise it. Have all the best snipers compete against one another. Last crimmigrant standing is granted asylum! Trump has 8 departments to sign funding for. He sees all of them as wasteful spending except homeland security.

I'm sure we can all agree, that yes, the buck stops with Trump - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... essweek-v2
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Pelosi is going to log jam the senate with bills. There will be so many that they wont know where to turn.
She will have trump by the short and curlies and will be slowly twisting.

Trump is a loser. It was fun for libertarians like Cunt and 42 to pretend Trump is your solution to destroy evil government. He failed. Lame duck now to the end.

Oh, did his impeachment finally go through for you?
Or is this a pre-celebration of his presidency?
