In Australia there are two or three parties with very left wing policies. Their members are lunatics. Nevertheless, each party attracts around 200 to 300 votes at elections. I mean the political right would insist on letting private enterprise handle this sort of thing. It is more efficient and probably turn it into a profit making undertaking. Sell advertising space on the wall, sniper training centres with real, live targets sneaking up from the south, that sort of thing.
