Re: US Election 2020
But it would only take some 10-20 republicans in the house and 5 more senators to do it. The trouble is that tens of republicans are only in congress due to this temporary populist/white men effect. The have to pretend to be sortof kindvof trumpian. But there is no future in that past 2024.L'Emmerdeur wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 4:04 pmBoth the House and the Senate would have to follow through on that. Perhaps there are enough Trumpist senators, but the House will not align with them. It isn't going to get to the point where the House votes directly (one vote per delegation) for the next president.Tero wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 1:40 pmJust looking at the states: start at 306 for biden, subtract from that till you get below 270.

...the noisy young men (Matt Gaetz et al) strategy to throw out votes is simple. They would need a majority of senators also to reject the election and go state by state.
But if it did, congress has no way to count votes or consider any data ina state. They simply need to cast each state into doubt. Testimony of republicans from those states will be enough. Votes received by mail after election is the case for PA (but Biden won even without those.) Because there is then some doubt, there must be more fraudulent votes!
Throw out PA and WI on some basis. They then need just one more state to throw out to get Biden under 270. At that point it goes to a house vote. Each state in congress gets 1 point to vote.
The party that had the house and senate could steal every election. As long as they are republican.

I believe many of you, when you suggest you have seen no evidence of election or voter fraud.
But you still keep picking at this thread. Why worry?

Because it's amusing watching desperate Republicans doing deeply stupid things without a hope of success...

..and we laugh because to protect ourselves from the awful idea that things in the US seem so off-kilter that they might even get away with it!

Re: US Election 2020
That might lurk at the back of one's mind, but to me, it looks like the reality of a Biden win has soaked in enough, even into a significant number of Republican politicians, that the last gasp of the "always Trumpers" is looking more and more like crazed denial at its most absurd level...Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 12:41 am..and we laugh because to protect ourselves from the awful idea that things in the US seem so off-kilter that they might even get away with it!![]()

Many Trumpists seem to be fantasising about living in the times of the American revolution, single-shot rifles, three-minute men and all. This painting is extremely popular at parler.com, qanon.news and similar sites right now:

Funny I hadn't seen that one. The place is a ruin of paid messages though. Probably didn't scroll enough.

Re: US Election 2020
When I reverse-searched Google Images it returned 56 results. 5 of the first 8 results linked to parler.com, 2 to qanon.news and 1 to thedonald.win. Then there were more of them mixed in among links to reddit and twitter.

Fair enough, but the censorship there might filter different sets of messages through different countries' users.

Cunt you really should be on Hive. There's a number of right-wing nutjobs there. And no censorship.
