Didn't they get the memo? It's never explicitly stated, but B.J. was conceived by the developers as a half-Jew.

There are hints in some of the games (eg his knowledge of Hebrew) and amusing in-jokes, like when he's referred to by a Nazi as a true Aryan, or something like that.

I guess there's a cohort that are that stupid thanks to not getting a minimum level of decent education earlier in life. The dangerous ones are those smart enough to be smart but not smart enough to be genius. Nazi intellectuals are the dangerous breed, not their followers, given the higher ranking members of the Nazi Party in the 30s/40s could in no way be described as retarded.
