As for the OP.... I disagree that she's talentless... if she's found a way of making people pay vast sums of money for her work as an evolutionary status display to others, then good on her. Capitalism is a financial, not a social, institution. It dictates how people spend and distribute their wealth, not how they treat other human beings. Communism supercedes capitalism in both those accounts, the problem is that people who run communist regimes have some rather capitalist ideals.
Which is why communism will never work, because there will always be people like that.

What would be ideal is the absence of a Government rule but not a state infrastructure, a law determined by a body without political investment, and the equitable distribution of goods and services in the absence of excess consumption and denial of access to or by any one individual.

Anyone on that sort of money is not well off, but neither are they impoverished, and there are plenty of people happy to live on much, much less from the state because they can't be bothered to work at all. The person on that sort of money (a toilet cleaner) has a choice - accept their situation and make do or find a way to push on and earn more money.

Now, real poverty in somewhere like, say, India has always been there and has predated modern "predatory" global Capitalism by centuries. But the hope exists that as the boom in India continues and a new breed of entrepeneur creates wealth this situation will be managed by the governement to the benefit of the whole of Indian society. It may take decades, even centuries, but I reckon that social conscience is created by relative wealth and that once Asia and the Indian sub-continent emerges from grinding poverty and Africa grows as well we may reach a point where as a species we find materialism abhorrent.

Only then will we have really matured - perhaps Capitalism is a blunt means to a very find end.

But, like some species, our evolution will most likely lead us to our own extinction when there's a sudden change in our environment - a nuclear winter, for example.
