US Election 2020
Re: US Election 2020
If things were the other way, for example, if something seemed slightly insecure about an election won by a republican, there would be much more attention to the evidence.
Even if it did turn out to be a conspiracy theory based on a (still absent) pee-pee tape.

And what evidence do you have to support this assertion?

And exactly how does the multi-year coverage of an FBI and special prosecutor investigation compared that for a document that was made public this morning have any bearing, and why is media coverage significant in any case?

At a hint of evidence, the media and entire Democrat party went mad with fruitless investigations, pulitzer-prize-winning conspiracy theory coverage, and a whole lot of idiots convinced the election was illegitemate because of a very small amount of evidence of Russian involvement.Joe wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 8:13 pmAnd exactly how does the multi-year coverage of an FBI and special prosecutor investigation compared that for a document that was made public this morning have any bearing, and why is media coverage significant in any case?
That same media is doubly vigorous in their rejection of every kind of evidence now.
It's enough to make me distrustful of Dorsey, Gates, and all the alphabet folk.

I can't say.
I can say that a lot of people demonstrate that it IS significant, by investing (for example)

Re: US Election 2020
Significant to your assertion?
It seems unlikely, and in any event what right does Trump have to equal coverage in the media?

The Antrim county noise touted by the Falun Gong disinformation outlet is the same being touted by similar places where trolls get their bait. Nothing particularly interesting.
Re: US Election 2020
Which one?
It seems that the unfairness is a risk more to someone other than Trump...hmm...who could that be...?

Re: US Election 2020
California put Biden over the top. There are still a small number of Electoral College votes to be cast, but the count at this point is Biden 302, Trump 232. All of the states in which the Trump campaign contested the election results in court (one win, fifty-nine losses not counting appeals, which would only boost the 'lost' count) have already cast their Electoral College votes. Trumpist lost causers, assorted opportunistic shitheels, and bad-faith clowns will continue to make noise. The US will move on.

Re: US Election 2020
The unfounded one of course.

Beats me. Nobody is guaranteed equal coverage and all the big players compete to get their narrative out, and some stories are dogshit not worthy of coverage. So when I hear people whining about unfair media coverage, I don't give it much credence.
Now, if the Michigan elections board was treating Republican candidates differently than Democratic candidates, that would be something. Trump does have a right to equal protection under the law. Of course, he'd have to convince a court and he's not been doing too well there.
They want credible evidence too.

Is Cunt peddling more conspiracy theories? He does love them, doesn't he?

Based on preliminary results we conclude that this story is going straight down the toilet.

Re: US Election 2020
It's old bone that the sad puppies of Trumpistan have returned to chew on again. Trump won in a rural county in Michigan. Not news. However, on election night somebody made an error and an unofficial count came out that showed Biden winning the county.
The original story: 'Antrim vote glitch: Expert shares how county mistakenly flipped from red to blue'
The latest development that's got some fanatics agitated is the prospect of the release of an official report on the incident. As if an official report is to be trusted. Come on, man.
No points for predicting that the official report will prove sadly disappointing. Then of course the fanatics will realise that it's complete bullshit--it couldn't be otherwise because it won't support the delusion they're committed to.
The delusion is based on the 'expert testimony' of a person that figured very prominently in the Kraken tomfoolery as an 'expert witness'. His testimony has been shown in court to be worthless, filled with errors and misrepresentations. He's mentioned as a 'consultant' in the article excerpt below. The one whose 'expert testimony' mistook voting districts in Wisconsin for districts that were actually in Michigan.
'Judge orders release of report examining Antrim County vote tabulators'
Further reading, in case anybody is really intent:
'State, company officials dispute report claiming Antrim County tabulators bungled results'
The first couple paragraphs give some idea--

Meanwhile, the idiot noise serves to encourage the same sort of delightful goons who conspired to kidnap and kill the governor of Michigan.State officials are disputing a report on Antrim County's voting equipment — signed by a consultant who confused Michigan and Minnesota voting districts in an earlier election analysis — that says the county's equipment "is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results."
Michigan Elections Director Jonathan Brater said in a weekend court filing the report "makes a series of unsupported conclusions, ascribes motives of fraud and obfuscation to processes that are easily explained as routine election procedures or error corrections, and suggests without explanation that elements of election software not used in Michigan are somehow responsible for tabulation or reporting errors that are either nonexistent or easily explained."
