Like Seabass says, the Repugs seem to keep getting caught doing exactly what they accuse the Dems of doing - so I'm wondering, has the army of the dead been voting for Repugs all along?

Let's do a checklist for Republicans:
Soulless? Check
Smell of corruption? Check
Vote for the Dark Lord? Check
Like to eat brains (without possessing them)? Check
Case closed...

7 days to electoral vote
*****
Business Insider
"Much like the mythological 'kraken' monster after which Plaintiffs have named this lawsuit, their claims of election fraud and malfeasance belong more to the kraken's realm of mythos than they do to reality," said a Saturday joint filing by the defendants, including Gov. Brian Kemp.
The filing, in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, is the latest in a back-and-forth spat between Powell and election officials. It's a direct response to a 1,000-page filing made late last week by Powell, who was once on President Donald Trump's legal team, and Lin Wood.
Powell called it a "kraken." It included screenshots of Facebook conversations alleging voter fraud, affidavits of "concerned citizens" following ballot-carrying trucks, and allegations that the state's digital voting system was rigged. They alleged that Georgia's election results shouldn't have been certified pending a full investigation.
In response to claims that Hugo Chavez, the deceased former president of Venezuela, had interfered in the Georgia election, officials said they're just repeating conspiracy theories, not facts.

Re: US Election 2020
The Kraken has run into a couple of judges today who summarily lopped off slimy appendages.
'Judge Removes Tentacle of "Kraken": Election-Toppling Bid in Michigan: "The People Have Spoken"'
'Judge Removes Tentacle of "Kraken": Election-Toppling Bid in Michigan: "The People Have Spoken"'
'Federal Judge Dismisses Georgia "Kraken" Suit Hours After Sidney Powell Failed in Michigan'Slapping down one of the so-called “Kraken” cases pushed by pro-Trump lawyers Sidney Powell and Lin Wood, a federal judge in Michigan cut off one of the arms of their efforts to overturn battleground elections.
“Plaintiffs ask this court to ignore the orderly statutory scheme established to challenge elections and to ignore the will of millions of voters,” U.S. District Judge Linda Parker wrote. “This, the Court cannot, and will not, do.”
“The People have spoken,” she added, entering the ruling hours after midnight Monday morning.
Although a complete evisceration of the lawsuit’s legal theories and evidence, the ruling addresses only one of its requests: denying an injunction purporting to decertify the election.
At the heart of their lawsuit—filed in the names of six Michigan residents, led by Timothy King—was an idea that the judge found antagonistic to the nation’s democratic experiment.
“The right to vote is among the most sacred rights of our democracy and, in turn, uniquely defines us as Americans,” her 36-page opinion begins. “The struggle to achieve the right to vote is one that has been both hard fought and cherished throughout our country’s history. Local, state, and federal elections give voice to this right through the ballot. And elections that count each vote celebrate and secure this cherished right.”
Hours after failing in a similar lawsuit in Michigan, pro-Trump attorneys Sidney Powell and Lin Wood lost their effort to decertify Georgia’s election before a federal judge who called their bid the most audacious he had ever seen.
“The relief that the plaintiffs seek, this court cannot grant,” U.S. District Judge Timothy C. Batten ruled from the bench after a roughly hourlong hearing, where he called “the most extraordinary relief ever sought” for an election in a court.
Judge Batten, a conservative judge appointed by George W. Bush, noted that allowing the case to stand would amount to “judicial activism,” as it requested relief far beyond his power.
Powell and Wood sought nothing less than the decertification of Georgia’s election and the redistribution of the electors in favor of lame-duck President Donald Trump.
Earlier this morning, U.S. District Judge Linda Parker rejected a similar lawsuit as anti-democratic.
“The People have spoken,” Parker said, referring to the election.
Powell’s courtroom arguments rambled through a hodgepodge of election-related conspiracy theories involving dead Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez to debunked smears about Dominion Voting Systems. She dodged or ignored several questions about more mundane legal matters such as standing, mootness, and timeliness.
She also claimed, falsely, that Bush v. Gore decertified Florida’s election. It did not.

Re: US Election 2020
There is some hitch with WI, but:
By the end of the day, every state is expected to have made its election results official, awarding 306 electoral votes to President-elect Joe Biden and 232 to President Trump.
But Trump's arguments have gone nowhere in court in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Most of his campaign's lawsuits in state courts challenging those Biden victories have been dismissed, with the exception of Wisconsin, where a hearing is scheduled for later this week.

Re: US Election 2020
Which is sillier, Rudy or Texas?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The state of Texas, aiming to help President Donald Trump upend the results of the U.S. election, said on Tuesday it has sued Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin at the Supreme Court, calling changes those states made to election procedures amid the coronavirus pandemic unlawful.

The Supreme Court is not obligated to hear the case and has said in previous decisions that its "original jurisdiction," which allows it to directly hear litigation between states, should be invoked sparingly.
"There is no possible way that the state of Texas has standing to complain about how other states counted the votes and how they are about to cast their electoral votes," Smith said.

Nope. I don't drink anymore, but I'm against fake booze on principle, and Mormons. Utah, christ; it's pretty though.

She's got it. Turns out it's a bad idea to sit there basting in Rudy's farts.
