I feel quite dirty and polluted just fraternizing with the useful idiots of California at the moment but I think selling some guns to good old boys in Arizona will wash me clean. I'm looking forward to strapping my gat back on as soon as I hit the Nevada border tomorrow. I'll stop, arm-up and give the double finger to CA and never come back.

I think Trump should fire everyone at the VA and defy the courts and the Civil Service system on day one. Have the police remove them from the buildings and lock them out and hire new people and when they appeal, as they inevitably will, just say "go fuck yourselves" and ignore all the appeals and refuse to comply with any judge who orders them back to work.

If he has to he reassigns them to cleaning toilets or shoveling shit on some federal project somewhere extremely unpleasant.

You see, Civil Service rules and regulations may say that he can't fire them, but he can sure as hell tell them WHERE they are going to work (somewhere far away from their homes and families...like Deigo Garcia or Adak, AK) and what their job duties are (cleaning toilets with toothbrushes, forking compost piles, digging ditches, etc.) are. I'd be satisfied to pay some fuckhead VA bureaucrat his administrative salary if he had to lick bedpans clean until he resigns.

Aside from gun restrictions and getting harassed by the border guards because my car had Colorado plates (two hour border inspection looking for pot) Canada has a "burn them to a crisp and make them into an inedible hockey-puck" hamburger law that means you can't get a decent cheeseburger anywhere in the whole benighted country.

But I've got a hell of a deal on my Sako TRG-42 .338 Lapua Magnum with US Optics 3.8-22 TPAL scope if you want it. $4500

If you brought that, you would have been able to find, butcher and serve your OWN cheeseburger...funny, your All-American chain restaurants weren't able to accommodate you.

I prefer my cheeseburgers overcooked, but it is mainly pragmatism. If I sourced the meat (good butcher or field) saw how it was handled and cooked, I can risk a less cooked burger. If I don't know how many ass-pickers have been involved with the field to plate process, I'll go safe.

Good suggestion on the Sako. For hunting, I get by with a 12, patience and guile. If a need for longer range presents, I'll borrow my sweethearts .338 (Win Mag). It's good for anything up to polar-bear sized. Works from far away, too.

Me too. I'm no republican, but I like to take their position now, more than ever.

I think of myself as liberal, vote that way (mainly) but find it important to hear different opinions. Not so much because one is right or wrong (how the fuck would I know?!?) but because the way that respect is tested in those disagreements. How respect is shown under pressure can be illustrative.
