Re: Media Bias
Twitter is a toy.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Brit media is HILARIOUS! Writing styles sure have changed over the years.

I couldn't sort out if it was the mis-use of the wheelie-bin (??) or the sex toy...or the bum-flashing.Thompson was convicted of committing a public nuisance by indecent exposure, exposing her penis to members of the public while performing a sex act upon herself and outraging public decency.

From PV:

I still haven't found PV being dishonest. Sure looks like PV found some law enforcement folk being dishonest...

Bold words, coming from a journalist everyone loves to insist is dishonest. I wonder if he'll get his stuff back...The Project Veritas legal team filed a motion DEMANDING the return of ALL equipment seized by the FBI during the unconstitutional raids on our homes last November.
There is only one way out for them - admit their wrongdoing, stand down, and get ready to pay up.
Give me back my stuff, you lawless cowards hiding behind the tin badge.

Greenwald has a good bead on content moderation...
Substack is getting more and more interesting...doubt they can survive supporting free speech, but we'll see."Content moderation" is the Orwellian euphemism which corporate journalists and liberals (excuse the redundancy) have created for the term "censorship."

Re: Media Bias
Elon Musk took aim at Twitter (TWTR.N) with a $41 billion cash offer on Thursday, prompting a spike in shares of the social media giant, which the Tesla CEO said needs to be taken private to grow and become a platform for free speech.
"Twitter has extraordinary potential. I will unlock it," Musk said in a letter to Twitter's board on Wednesday, which was made public in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
Musk's offer price of $54.20 per share represents a 38% premium to Twitter's April 1 close, the last trading day before the Tesla (TSLA.O) chief executive's stake of more than 9% in the social media platform was made public.

Re: Media Bias
Well, the qanon crowd are quite excited about it.
I doubt he can do anything significant though. Most of what would make a difference is protected by the other large shareholders (I think Black Rock is bigger than Musk)Oh and I missed it before.
Elon is offering to buy at $54.20 a share
5+4+2= 11
17 and 11
But wait. There’s more

Re: Media Bias
I kinda feel bad for people who still trust the 'journalists' who mislead them about this (and Jussie Smollette, Nick Sandman, the Biden Laptop not being a story etc.)

Why? Getting it wrong from your dinning room table means exactly fuck all.

Re: Media Bias
Because they keep seeing an illusion.
There are people who still think that Kyle Rittenhouse went to a protest to shoot black protesters. The FBI had a teeny bit of footage, but surely they didn't have lots more, and only release what serves them. That would be sketchy as fuck, and the FBI isn't sketchy...
In unrelated news, that subway shooter is rumoured to have magically disabled all the cameras that could have showed the authorities what happened.
Weird...just like Epstein and other famous camera failures...

Yes dear, you have a unique and special perspective which, unfortunately, means you're forever cursed by seeing things how they really are rather than how they merely appear to be.Cunt wrote:Because they keep seeing an illusion.

Re: Media Bias
If you believe, as others have, that Rittenhouse brought a gun across state lines to kill protesters, you've been tricked. A lot of people have been tricked that way, by a media that does it deliberately.Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 4:29 pmYes dear, you have a unique and special perspective which, unfortunately, means you're forever cursed by seeing things how they really are rather than how they merely appear to be.Cunt wrote:Because they keep seeing an illusion.

It makes a difference in how one thinks of following events, or even preceding events.
If you are convinced he was attacking, vs if you think he was defending, could make a huge difference. The facts made it clear during the trial, but not everyone wielding an opinion, even knows the trial outcome.
