The dark side of the force is strong in that one. The Leave campaign hotshots are all corporately endowed 1%ers.

Re: The Thread of BREXIT
The City is a pretty unique feature of the UK economy, of the economy but not necessarily in the economy. It's more akin to an independent nation state, granted municipal 'Chartered' status in law (freedom to govern itself - to an extent), and even having things like its own police force and police commissioner, civil infrastructure, etc. Many would say that it's a law unto itself, and while any effect the vote might have on Stirling will certainly impact on the profits of some institutions The City has immunised itself well against calamity by ensuring the British taxpayer is locked in to underwriting it's risks.Svartalf wrote:and yet it's the City that stands to lose most frome Leaving...

I don't understand how any politico could stand by and watch the Scotch rape the sea for a living.

Maybe I need to rethink my Brexit positionJimC wrote:Is it not obvious that anyone who would vote to remain is clearly a racist arsehole?

A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.
