Early voting is a rising trend, so early voting does not mean much. 10 years ago, early voting was still fairly new. It's been expanding every election.

That's not to say the Democrats aren't going to come away with a majority in the House, just that the suggestion that massive early votes means the Democrats are in the lead is without any demonstrable support.

How does that comport with you and everyone else saying the reason for low voter turn out among minorities is voter suppression by Republicans?

Nothing stops black people from voting in the US. Black people are perfectly capable to vote. The notion sold by the Democrats that blacks are "suppressed" by having to have an ID, or being required to register, like everyone else, is too much for them is racist.

I read Beto and Cruz is close 42, and early voting turnout has already surpassed the total turnout for the 2014 midterms! That's never good news for Republicans eh?

I heard early voting favored Republicans. I have no idea why it would favor either. What about Democrats or Republicans make them want to vote earlier? Also, early voting has just been becoming more popular election after election as people have gotten used to it.

Still, a Democrat hasn't won since the 90s. So you've got that going for you.

I don't know what's happening in the Beto election. The media licks his asshole so much, it's impossible to believe any polls. Are they push polls? The major media want Beto, and they're jerking off over him every day.

Yeah, I gave them my ID as they never know how to spell it and find the line. Though it is by last name only. about 90% at our poll vote with no ID, and they only check the signatures. A vote is already in the box with other votes so mismatched signatures are only a statistic they collect.

Matching signatures is among the dumbest ways to "Verify" anything. People's signatures change, and they often don't sign the same way consistently. Was it a quick signature? A formal signature? Full name? First and last only? MIddle initial?

Like a normal human, I showed up at the polls with my ID and - and - my voter registration card (which is not required). That's because of my white privilege.

Here in the US, anyone can vote. The dead. Illegal aliens. And, they vote in multiple precincts. Even if you have no ID in a state that requires ID, you can still vote.

I did my civic duty. The county gave me a small dilute coffee and minimuffin while I waited for Mr Tero to finish. Had to toss the bad coffee in the bushes outside.

That's voter suppression. People who don't like muffins, and who have already had their morning coffee, are less likely to stay in line. Jews are suppressed because they prefer bagels and a shmeer to muffins. Blacks prefer cornbread to muffins. So, you know. Suppression. It's only because of white privilege that the government officials supplied white preferred muffins -- probably blueberry and banana nut muffins - to those standing in line.

And, having a queue in the first place is suppression of everyone except the Anglo-Saxon British -

The British know how to queue better than anyone else, so -- you know - voter suppression.
