lazy, thoughtless people?JimC wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 11:37 pmLittering is a complex issue. Clearly, a significant part of the problem is lazy, thoughtless people who cannot be bothered disposing of rubbish properly (hopefully into bins for recycling). But yes, another significant issue is the production of single-use packaging by both corporations and small business. If this single use packaging is, for example, cardboard, then at least it is either recyclable or at the very leat, biodegradable in the environment. If it is single use plastic, so much the worse.
But the logo thing is a minor part of the issue.
You mean like nearly all humans? Or maybe all primates?
The litter is as predictable as footprints, and while I don't share your opinion that it is only the lazy and thoughtless, I think we agree that all the members of the rainbow coalition likely understand corporate attention-whoring.
The predictably littering humans may be a problem, but corporations knowing that it is worth advertising on that litter, is extra gross.
Especially when people blame the 'litterbugs', while forgetting to blame the assholes putting their corporate logo on the trash.
