Re: Republicans: continued
Republicans report that Democrats passed a huge bill spending YOUR money!
Democrats rejoice:
Adam Schiff
@RepAdamSchiff
The American Rescue Plan is heading to
@POTUS
' desk for his signature. Not a moment too soon.
$1,400 relief checks. Extended unemployment benefits. Funding to increase vaccinations, keep people in their homes, reopen schools, and cut child poverty in half.
Help is on the way.

Is it also going to bail out failed states who need a budget boost?
Elon fled Kommiefornia, so they'll need to make up for the taxes he took with them.

Good news, looking forward to seeing the results.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?
The Silver State. 1894.

Re: Republicans: continued
Well, everyone runs on money. Some just produce bs with it. That is then fed to voters. Science is never fed to voters, except a teaspoonful at a time on rare occasions. Voters then ponder it. Half of them react with suspicion.
Re: Republicans: continued
Yes, scientists ARE as easy to buy as politicians.
In some cases, more valuable too.

Re: Republicans: continued
You apparently don't know any scientists. They have different ideas and contrasting theories. But big arguments come up between researchers and funding sources and these dusagreements (that are not scientific) revolve around one thing.
Trigger Warning!!!1! :
Re: Republicans: continued
Every scientist I know of is using money. Some unknown proportion of those can be manipulated by money, such as drying up funding for one thing, and offering it for another.
Of course, you can just trust Hostess/FritoLays scientists on nutrition if you like. No-one could blame you. It's very popular.

The only ones we reject are the ones funded by Heritage Foundation. There is nothing wrong with researching materials for how much pee they hold in a diaper.
Re: Republicans: continued
Yes, I know you reject science based on your politics. It just seems incoherent and laughable as a method, to me.
I'm no scientist though. It's probably what they mean when they say 'follow THE science'.

We know, daggles, we know. It's why we can ignore your incoherent ramblings about many, many things...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!
And my gin!
Re: Republicans: continued
Are you seriously pretending that scientists can't be bought?
Awesome, dude. You should be thrilled with all the science Monsanto is doing...
