I guess we all have to choose our heroes. I'll take Alessandro Strumia over the yahoo in your photo.
His detractors are lying about him, and that is often a good sign.

Trump is doing a great job:
'A kick in the stomach': massive GM layoffs leave workers distraught – and angry

But the workers dont blame Trump. It is everyone else's fault.Lordstown, Ohio, was defined by its General Motors plant. Now workers say job cuts threaten the lives they’ve built

Watergate prosecutor says Trump's 'poor me' tweet on Christmas Eve echoed Nixon's last days as president
Former Watergate prosecutor said President Donald Trump's tweet about being "all alone" in the White House reminded him of Richard Nixon's last days before his resignation.
Nick Akerman said Nixon "really kept to himself" in the last days of his presidency.
He was referring to Trump's tweet on Christmas Eve that he was by himself waiting for Democrats to meet his demands on border security.
Akerman suggested that Trump was having trouble with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's progress in the Russia investigation.

I haven't heard any good arguments for having a wall. Surely such a proposal should proceed upon the basis of the claims made for it?

The wall is a brilliant idea! We'll just also have to make sure those dirty, brown, disease-ridden "crimmigrants" never figure out how to make ladders. Or shovels. Or rope...

Trump biographer examined his feet for bone spurs that helped him avoid Vietnam but 'didn't see anything'
President Donald Trump's medical exemption from the Vietnam War draft is in question after The New York Times reported that a podiatrist might have diagnosed him with bone spurs as a favor to his father Fred Trump.
Donald Trump biographer Michael D'Antonio corroborated the Times report, saying that Trump took off his shoes and tried to show him his bone spurs when they met years ago.
But D'Antonio said he didn't see anything on Trump's feet.
He added that Trump might have genuinely believed that he had bone spurs.

Do you argue against any of the other 70+ walls around the world, or just the one in the US? Are there no good reasons for having a wall?Brian Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Dec 27, 2018 10:56 amI haven't heard any good arguments for having a wall. The reason for the wall is so that people can't walk into the United States.
In October and November 2018, CBP says 102,000 illegals were apprehended at the border coming into the US. That is a pace for 612,000 for the FY 2019, which is from October 1 to September 30, 2019. The wall would prevent that from happening. That number does not include the number of people who made it through and are here illegally, and we don't know what that number is, but estimates have ranged from 333,000 illegal crossings in a year up to a high about 1.5 million. There are estimates from 12 million to 30 million illegal immigrants living in the US.
I don't like the idea of the wall. But, I can't say I don't see a "problem" with those numbers. If they were Canadian, I'd see the same problem.

Hawks, doves and Trump:
McCain's absence was strongly felt last week when Trump unexpectedly announced his decision to pull U.S. troops out of Syria. While there was general pushback in the Senate, some observers said the GOP's criticism of the commander in chief did not match the authoritative voice of McCain, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
"We miss his voice and his actions," said John Weaver, a longtime political adviser to McCain. "Can you imagine if John was still the chairman of the Armed Services Committee? It would have been rather dramatic."

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.
