The White House is ready: diet Coke button in oval office, TVs everywhere. Might have to redecorate after Melania.

I can't take it anymore. There's just too much stupidity. I should unplug before I go nuts.

Of course the right hate Oprah - she actually worked for her wealth, applying talent and effort, rather than inheriting it like some over-privileged fucknugget.

I don't hate Oprah at all, but then again I'm not on the "right" either. But, there's nothing wrong with taking the piss out of her either. It's not surprising the "left" gets butthurt when their celebrity horse in the Roman Senate gets lambasted.

Are we not supposed to bust her chops, is that it?

And, look, Trump worked for his money too.

The last thing the US needs is yet another completely unqualified celebrity president. It's hard for me to argue that Democrats are any different from Republicans when it comes to mindlessly jumping on bandwagons clearly labelled 'Abysmal Choice,' though. I'm not talking about Clinton, because while I was not particularly enthusiastic about her candidacy I didn't consider her to be an abysmal choice, unlike those who let their perceptions be driven by the right wing media bubble. I'm talking about the knee-jerk 'Go Team!!!' approach to politics that has come to dominate US politics.

But but Twitter! We need at least a minor celebrity with some skill of some sort. Not an actor singer showman but a NAME.

Surely the US Democrats can find a retired Physics teacher with a penchant for G & Ts and cardigans?

If Oprah Winfrey appears to be a good choice for the US presidency it is only in comparison to the incumbent. It is not easy to find a worse candidate this side of, say, Richard Spencer, though I have to concede that the majority of the Republican candidates offering their services in 2016 are worse too. The best of that sorry lot, Jeb Bush got nowhere.

What is wrong with the denizens of the USA, thinking that experience in the entertainment industry qualifies for political office?

You've got to stop saying this. It's patently ridiculous. Even in America, you're right-wing. In Europe, you're off the fucking scale. I suppose you'd be "not on the 'right'" in a Muslim theocracy.
