A number of us have already linked you to racist abuse since Trump's election.

There have been allegations, but there was racist abuse before Trump's election. I've seen no evidence that there is more of it now than before.

It's a bit early to find statistical evidence for racist abuse, although a start has been made on it five days after the election. Richard Cohen, president of the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala. reported that the SPCL has logged more than 200 complaints. Without, unfortunately being more specific, he described the number as "much larger than typical". I suppose, proper statistics will eventually materialise.

It would surprise me if the number of hate crimes against blacks, Muslims and Hispanics and crimes specifically against women would not increase as the direct result of the inflammatory stuff Trump has written and said about them. Especially egregious was his November 2015(!) reposting on twitter of this totally faked graph:



Figures for 2015 have not yet been published. The Crime Statistics Bureau - San Francisco does not exist. The whole thing is an invention by a neo-Nazi. The latest available figures (2014) look nothing like the ones above.

Many factors came into play to propel Trump to power. Not least Trump himself. It's like the last of The Foundation books and the rise of the Mule, some sort of Hitleresque supernaturality to it all.
