I doubt it's going to be as drastic as you paint it. Where's the benefit to the US, Europe and others of an impoverished Britain? Sure, they'll push them hard to get a favourable deal, and they will definitely get concessions. But the US et al has no interest in not trading with the UK.

If you have to choose between a market of 500 million or 50 million the choice is easily made. Not saying the US will not trade with the UK but it will be on the US terms.

Britain's economy would drastically decline at least in short to medium term and if it recovers in the long term then it would be able to take up military duties. Remember it has aircraft carriers without aircraft the French were going to supply them. Obama made it very clear as does Clinton; Britain would be a better partner IN the EU. Remember American long term policy on Europe is to create an independent military force in the EU.

According to CNN, it was the Russian hooligans.
According to German television, it was both the English and the Russian hooligans.
On twitter, there were videos of German hooligans rioting the day before yesterday. No reports of that on television, though.
