If you have to choose between a market of 500 million or 50 million the choice is easily made. Not saying the US will not trade with the UK but it will be on the US terms.
What do you think Britain would look like with a very much reduced City of London? Only 10% of export is manufactured goods the rest is services.

Again, the US has no interest in seeing a degraded Britain. Britain is its major military ally, for starters. The US is already struggling in its world policing duties.

Britain's economy would drastically decline at least in short to medium term and if it recovers in the long term then it would be able to take up military duties. Remember it has aircraft carriers without aircraft the French were going to supply them. Obama made it very clear as does Clinton; Britain would be a better partner IN the EU. Remember American long term policy on Europe is to create an independent military force in the EU.

Another article this time about tariffs. They way they work and their effect on trade. Tariffs are not the only cost that affects trade. Non-tariff costs are much higher but of course Brexiters never mention them.

They've voted for Cameron twice. They're capable of anything.
Like climate change denial.

Not coincidentally, there's a lot of overlap between those producing the anti-Europe propaganda and those producing climate change denial propaganda.
Suffice it to say, if you executed every climate change denier in the UK, Remain would win by a landslide.

Thank you.
We in Africa can only afford RT, so it is good to know that it is confirmed.

I now have cable television and can watch a lot of different international news channels.
According to RT, it was the English hooligans.
According to CNN, it was the Russian hooligans.
According to German television, it was both the English and the Russian hooligans.
On twitter, there were videos of German hooligans rioting the day before yesterday. No reports of that on television, though.
