Could that be Trump's goal for making a fool of himself? I can't think of any other reason?
If he gets elected he'll probably chose his cabinet by way of a reality TV show. I almost want to see it.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

As someone whose birthplace and citizenship has been questioned (I went through 15 years of hell with the BCIS trying to prove my past citizenship as a Vietnamese citizen to get naturalized) there's really nothing he can do to change their small minds anyway, but it's worth a try.
admit it, you're a native French citizen. Now renounce those presidential ambitions and be happy with replacing Arnie as governor of your home state.

Even without that it just amazes me what goes on in peoples minds. Do they really believe that the president is not vetted. That the CIA is just like "oh he says he was born here? cool. we believe him"...Donald Trump's ego is so big he thinks he is going to uncover something that the highest intelligence in our country can't/hasn't
Candidates are only "vetted" by their opposition, which is enough. The CIA doesn't (lawfully) investigate candidates for public office.

If the Republicans actually could show he was not born in Hawaii they would do it, and they would be wholly justified in doing so. And, they have plenty of resources to higher plenty of investigators to get to the bottom of it. No mainstream Republican lends any credence to the birth certificate argument. Even Glenn Beck rejects the birther arguments.
Actually, since his opposition included the likes of sen hillary rodham clinton, I guess that the pre primary vetting was quite thorough and should satisfy any republican with any pretences of sanity.

He's not gonna run. I think he's milking the publicity as far as it will go.

The posts I read about Obama are ridiculous. And as usual, once the first dog bites, all the rest of the pack join in. That's the Republican way. That's what it looks like to me. Mindless attacks piggy backing on the loud mouth's first shit fest.

First they complain that he hasn't done anything to help Lybia, then when he does they say he's wasting our money on another war, first they accuse him of not providing his birth certificate, then when he does, they say he's wasting time on frivolous issues when there's more pressing things to deal with, they complain that he wants everything his way, but when he asks for both parties to work together, he's blamed for not taking a stand. And it goes on and on with every single issue.

It's so strange it's not even funny.

Donald Trump tells the press they are protecting President Obama.

"I'd like to know how does he get into Harvard, how does he get into Colombia if he isn't a very good student," Donald Trump told the press this morning in New Hampshire.

"If he wants to release it that's fine, if he doesn't want to release it that's fine too. But the word is he wasn't a very good student," Trump added.

I have no words to describe this man.
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. [...] I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in a mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell, possibly. It doesn’t frighten me. - Richard Feynman

WOW! really...I mean really!

What background did Regan have to become president other than playing a cowboy in the movies?

You wanna talk about stupid?

How did George Bush manage to attend Yale despite his C average in history?

Bush who couldn't put two sentences together without a blunder.

Why shouldn't he release his college transcripts? People demanded that his predecessor do the same, didn't they?

Possibly on merit?
Though I don't know how he financed going there... but I doubt he had the kind of shortcuts bush could enjoy.
