I say Micronesia, Paraguay, Iceland, Bhutan and Cameroon. They'll have the world fixed up in no time.
:mod: You forgot Lesotho. :fp:
Get your psychic powers checked!
I actually wrote Lesotho, and then decided to put Cameroon in its place. I figured Lesotho was so obscure people were more likely to have heard of Cameroon. And I needed an Africa representative.

Hey :lay:
:hehe:
Now now, I meant no political disrespect. I picked Iceland because, IIRC, there's absolutely no military beyond something of a little coast guard presence. So why not put it on the Security Council?

If the US would just stay on its side of the oceans....I mean...imagine how peaceful the world would be with the U.S. maintaining a more-or-less isolationist policy, wherein we left Europe without engangling alliances with the US....if only we could go back to such a time... 1914 .....ahhhhh....the good old days.... Oh, what a peaceful world we had, when the US kept to itself....

:hehe: The only reason I can think of why we shouldn´t be there is that stuff like this always costs the nations money and we´re poor :(

Iceland is 7th on the list of highest standards of living in the world. Poor, you ain't. You are "the rich" that are living large while the poor of the world live in squalor. Now feel appropriately guilty, and offer to give 80% of your stuff to those less well off.

No doubt a plot by the Power Elite in Iceland to unjustly steal the wealth of the 3rd World and siphon it to Reykjavik!

Ok, we are not poor like some third world countries but the situation here at the moment is really bad and there are cuts everywhere in society, schools, hospitals etc and so many people are losing their homes.
And it will only get worse when we have to pay for Icesave. :fp: The amounts might not sound like a lot to you but for a nation of 320 thousand it´s too much. We really should have declared bankruptcy when this started. :endit:

We cant give 80% of anything but debt :(

Iceland is 20th on the list of highest per capita GDP. You have an exceedingly high share of the world's wealth per capita. Hoarders.

I heard George W. Bush's second cousin's husband's grandfather was 1/4 Icelandic. You connect the dots.

Is this information new? :ask:
And if we are so wealthy why would we have to get a loan from the IMF? Nobody wants that if it´s possible to avoid it.
