Palin may well be Prez. It's the way the Republicans work. Since Nixon all their premiers have been, well to put it diplomatically of average intelligence. With them it's all about the power behind the throne. I think it's partly because typical Republican voters mistrust smart people. Also it's due to the actual party members with real power being such unsavoury characters. Well in appearance anyway.
