Since you are unable or unwilling to disclose why Johnson's narrative would have made any difference in the findings of the committee, your characterization of it as a 'clown show' in reference to its failure to interview him looks like an expression of partisan fealty and nothing more.
I characterized it as a 'clown show', because of the clowns, and their show.
But if it wasn't a clown show, they must have detailed the plan for insurrecting. Were they going to take over the US government with no guns, no organization (beyond facebook and parler) and no plan?
And who planted the pipe bomb? The same protected shadowy individual who left his cocaine in the white house?

I don't imagine for a moment that you've even glanced at an accurate synopsis of the committee's report, let alone the report itself. It is reasonable to draw the conclusion that therefore your opinions on it are not your own, but have been concocted on your behalf. It's efficient, I'll give it that.
Say, didn't those clowns get convicted of seditious conspiracy? That couldn't have happened unless the government convinced a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that they had a plan. Why, I bet the government even put the plan and whatever weapons were part of the scheme in the indictments of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys.
I figure our enterprising truth seeker from north of Edmonton can read them if he's so inclined, and answer his own questions.

Oh yes, readily available for free. In fact I found the Executive Summary in audio format for free (thinking of the podcast set) on Audible. You have to sign in with Amazon, probably not worth the bother, and who in their right mind would pay for it? Anyway it comes to about 6 hours (chopped up into four segments) so plenty of information to dismiss as the work of clowns.
Lin Wood, mentioned upthread and known for his failed lawsuits in support of Trump, claims that he's still completely loyal to Trump and though he may be called as a witness, he has not agreed to testify against Trump.

That's pretty nice. I listened to them on the Lawfare No Bull podcast. One thing that doesn't get much attention is Appendix 3 of the J6 report. I heard a former prosecutor opine that if the DOJ followed up on what it described, they would possibly have the most threatening case against Trump to come out of the Committee's work. He thought it was just plain old fraud like the kind Steve Bannon was charged with for his "We Build the Wall" fundraiser.

So was there word on the pipe bomb in there? Or is it the same 'cat burglar' type who planted cocaine in the white house?
Must be really tough to figure out who did stuff like that, without cameras in place.
Maybe if they nudge taxes up a bit, they can afford some...
Do you expect legislators to be out in the streets of DC with magnifying glasses sleuthing after the pipe bomber? Do you believe that the FBI has ignored the pipe bomber? Really, why are you so fixated on the pipe bomber?
Just kidding, I know why. You use an unresolved element of the events of that day to dismiss any and all information that is actually known about the day. Here's a clue: it doesn't make you look clever or informed, but rather the opposite. So, maybe it was antifa! Would that exonerate the mob and those who encouraged them? Like your fixation on Officer Johnson, it's merely an excuse to dismiss the whole affair and write off the information presented by the committee as a 'clown show.' It's a transparent and ridiculous ruse, but I suppose it probably made for an interesting podcast.

Assuming he's telling the truth here (a significant assumption) he'll spend the day invoking the 5th Amendment. Unless they give him immunity, in which case he'll either testify or simply lie and take the eventual perjury charge.

Not at all, just highlighting how the people in charge, years later, still don't think you or I deserve to know the truth. Maybe after all the trials are done, they'll come clean.

Well, all that assumes that the "people in charge" know who the pipe bomber is. It's just as possible they don't know, especially since they're offering a big reward.

Ya, they have all kinds of cameras, but still very little evidence on that one, eh? Tough break.
Well, at least they got their conviction of Stephen Horn. Does anyone feel safer with him about to be sentenced? He WAS reporting unauthorized news. And during a insurrecting! How rude!

And on his first day as a journalist. That's a sad story.
I guess the jury didn't buy it. Tough break. I hope they go easy on him.

That's a problem, since it runs counter to the governments narrative, and would make it look like all the effort spent censoring on the topic, was not done for the good of the public.
