And he has !! But not for the reason of incompetence or bias.
Just to refresh the matter, this is the judge who sentenced the ranchers at the centre of this row to three months, and a year and a day respectively, for arson, when the statutory minimum is five years.
It turns out, according to what I read yesterday, that he sentenced the men, on the last day of his last case, the day before he retired.
It's like raiding the shelves, on your last day as a security guard.
What a twat.
Anyway, it's been overturned, and they got the full five years. Now they're begging Obama (THE HEAD OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT !!) for a pardon when he leaves office.
