Does he plan to use his farts once he runs out of ammunition? Is that what the beans are for?

careful, depending on the sulphur content of the beans and the way his gut works, the farts might end up weapon grade.

Could probably fuel the generator with them. As for ammo, I doubt he'll run out, he's one of those 20,000 round kind of guys.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

My aunt's husband's like that. He ordered so much ammo in 2016 she worried the feds might notice. :hehe:

20,000 rounds? That's nothing. Haven't you watched The Walking Dead. 20k wouldn't even bring you halfway through an episode.

Guy at Zappa forum keeps posting state by state polls:
Texas and North Carolina, once again, slip from Trump to Biden.

Today's stats: (if the election were held today)

President (270 electoral votes needed to win)
Biden ---- 388 electoral votes (+53 since Sunday)
Trump --- 132 electoral votes (-53 since Sunday)
Ties ------ 18 electoral votes (no change) Ohio (18)

Dem pickups vs. 2016 - Arizona (11), Florida (29), Georgia (16), Michigan (16), North Carolina (15), Pennsylvania (20), Texas (38), Wisconsin (10)
GOP pickups vs. 2016 - none

There is that. Plus, in the zombie apocalypse there's a lot of ammo lying about because the Zs don't carry weaponry.

Okay, I've had a salad. The revolution is postponed.

Seriously though, the Republican party just works itself out?
Perhaps the only glimmer of hope is that every single Republican is obsessed with not dying poor. I think most thinking people realise that Trump is bad for business - on so many levels. Everybody knows that things are shit when looked at from the bottom, and everyone know that's exactly where most of us are standing. Still, I don't know how you can really counter the years of gaslighting, fear mongering, lying, cheating, and unabashed hypocrisy that the Republican Party have now baked into their brand and narratives.

We have to start telling ourselves better stories about ourselves I guess.

I'm afraid there's nothing to work with. The party either slides into irrelevance by failing to win, or the country eventually splits.

Total corruption has taken over Trump just breaks the law at will:

Republicans shatter norms by using government roles during political convention
Trump allies and family members also used misleading claims to portray the president as the best hope for America’s future

Allies of Donald Trump shattered political norms, stirred controversy and issued misleading claims against Democrats during the second night of the Republican party’s national convention on Tuesday.

In speech after speech, a collection of Trump’s family members, allies, rightwing campaigners and swing-state farmers portrayed the president as the best hope for America’s future.

A spokesperson for Democratic presidential rival Joe Biden said Tuesday’s event presented an “alternate reality” that failed to acknowledge the severity of the coronavirus pandemic or its economic fallout.

In his speech on Tuesday, Larry Kudlow, who leads the White House’s council of economic advisers, described the coronavirus pandemic in the past tense, apparently ignoring that hundreds continue to die each day.

More than 175,000 people have died and more than 5.7 million have been infected in the US, far more than any other country in the world.

Disapproval, due to pandemic, peaked at 56% end of June. But current rate is 54% and there was no effect from either convention so far
