It's a bit more than that, although it certainly used the inherent power and influence of big capital in true 30's fascism. But it also uses intense nationalistic fervour (frequently including racist ideology) to generate popular support, and disdains the rule of law, instead preferring to use state-sanctioned thugs to violently apply power and coercion.

No, you've got that wrong Jim. Authoritarianism is leftist by definition. Admittedly it's not my definition, or any considered definition of a student of political theory, but that doesn't stop it being defined as such - no sirree.

There is an authoritarian left. Progressives tend to to be slightly over to the authoritarian side of the left. Communists are hard left and hard authoritarian. That kind of thing.

Anarchism is a left ideology. And ideological communism is stateless and therefore non-authoritarian. That graph is nonsense.

There are different types of anarchism, like anarcho-communism vs. anarcho-capitalism.

Anarchocommunism is a theory of anarchism which advocates the abolition of the state, capitalism, wage labour, and private property, so it's leftist. On the other hand anarcho-capitalism is an individualist anarchist political philosophy that advocates the elimination of the state in favor of individual sovereignty in a free, capitalist market involving private property, wage labour, etc. So, they are different ends of the spectrum, both involving anarchism.

Anarchism as a political ideology was developed after a schism within Marxism/socialism. It's absolutely a left ideology. Anarcho-capitalism is American right-libertarianism.

totalitarianism is not an ideology, it's a feature of both far right and far left authoritarian regimes.

Libertarianism is based on 16th century French and 17th century British thinkers, and predates the existence of the US. See La Boetie, Locke, etc. Libertarians are not anarchists, as libertarians acknowledge a legitimate role for elected government. You, as usual, have no idea what you're talking about.
