His liberal use of the word "man" in his comments is hilarious. "This is big fucking deal, man" "Yeah, man..."

And, I really do wish Hillary had won the nomination for President four years ago.

I think I found out where CES is getting his talking points from. Oddly enough, it's Ralph Reed and the Faith and Freedom Coalition...

:coffeespray:

Ralph Reed - now there's someone who, back in my college days in the 90s, helped me to go from cool criticism of conservative ideologies to outright despising them.

EDIT: That wasn't a very well-articulated thought, but I think the sentiment is understandable. He's the sort of social conservative who helped to corrupt the GOP from what it had once been. Same class of person as Jerry Falwell or Rick Santrum.

I despise Ralph Reed (who was with the Christian Coalition, as I recall) and the Christian Right conservatives too. I don't agree with them on any of the issues they tend to champion.

How telling is it that an Obama ad is little more than letting Mitt Romney speak?

Yes, the Democrats do want to raise taxes by $1,000,000,000,000 ---

Yup. $1,000,000,000,000.

So much for "nobody making under $250,000 per year will see a dime of tax increases..."

LOL -- he already broke that promise, but if they want another $1 trillion tax increase, they can't just take it from people making over $250 k a year. Or, if they think they can, I'd like to see the proposed tax rates.

Joe Biden is going to get pasted in the October 11, debate. LOL. He managed to debate Sarah Palin to a draw. And, with all the ammunition he's been supplying lately, MAN, unless he puts Ryan in chains, it's going to be a big effin' route.

We'll see. :levi:

Heavy trading on Intrade today: people betting on Obama's chances of winning dropped from 73% to 67%.

But it's just up and down a few precent:
Florida:
Three weeks ago, Obama held a steady three-point lead over Romney in the sunshine state. However, according to the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll, Romney now trails by one point. The poll predicts Obama winning 47% over Romney's 46%, with a 3.3% margin of error.

Stupidest Obama line: corporate jets. Lose it or you are history.

Stupidest Romney line: 47%.

Move on buddy, we all know it already.

You made me look. After watching five minutes from the middle, I think both Biden and Palin actually did better than either McCain or Obama did in their debates, who in my opinion were both lackluster. Maybe both tickets were wrong side up.

If that meant Biden or someone like him was going to be secretary of state, no thanks. I'm happier with Biden being confined to a ceremonial position where he can't do much damage.

I wondered why Obama didn't pick Hillary. I guess it was personal, and he just really loathes her, because the Veep position is one where the Veep only has the power that the Prez gives him or her, but an Obama/Clinton ticket in 2008, I think, would have won by an absolute landslide and a Clinton v Palin fem-a-fem battle would have left Palin a huddled, quivering mass as Clinton would have eaten her for breakfast (no euphemism intended).
