Has anyone made sense of the impact of the Russian activities yet? Trump lost the popular vote, and not for the first time we got a president we didn't want because of a feature of own system. That's not Russia's fault.

Also, even if Trump did mention the interference we should expect that it would be written off as "for show only" by the Democrats, and I'd be inclined to believe them.
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

The Silver State. 1894.

Yeah, Wallace was a force and split the Democrats badly.

So, having meetings in Trump Tower, trying to build a tower in Moscow, having over a 100 meetings, not telling the FBI about those meetings, taking money from Russian sources, money laundering, and playing footsie with Putin were all attempts at rebuffing Russia?

Here is the president of the United States spreading a link to an article at a white-nationalist, alt-right propaganda website that defends a slow-witted Infowars nutjob and a hate peddling, pedophile D-list celeb. We have well and truly gone through the looking glass. I will never get used having this man as president. Fucking surreal.

He was on a tear yesterday, retweeting Lauren Southern, Paul Joseph Watson and others attacking Facebook for its house-cleaning. Then he 'just asked the question' of why media outlets who've been critical of him are allowed to be on Twitter and Facebook. The irony of complaining about censorship then immediately insinuating that the free press should be muzzled is beyond him.

I'm not sure if it's beyond him, or if he's just trolling.

Didn't y'all already know that? That's the whole point of the exercise, to piss off everybody. The optics are delicious. The Dems are petulant children with their "Russia! Russia!" stuff, as petulant and childlike as the Obama Birthers and BENGHAZI! The Trumpanzees look like brain-dead cultists. Centrist GOP and Dems are bewildered cattle on the way to the abattoir, they don't have a clue what's going on and aren't likely to figure it out in time. All our sad little self-deceptions and public posturings we've depended on are stripped away and we're seeing ourselves as we really are. Ain't pretty, but I fucking love it. It's more fun than watching two old duffers at the nursing home fighting over a set of false teeth. It's exactly what we needed after 16 stultifying years of The Shrub-n-Barry Show. We need to shake shit up, like Fremen Jihad.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.
