She was a free market capitalist, at least in theory, and the liberty she was referring to was the freedom to exploit the working population. Thus she set about dismantling unions and the infrastructure of ordinary working class people, who she somehow believed also suffered at the hands of the left here.

I agree with you that our capitalists are just as nasty for the most part as yours. But I also believe they are generally speaking more regulated in their desire to exploit.
