2012 US Election -- Round 2
Re: 2012 US Election -- Round 2
A lot of that is outright bullshit and false, a lot of it is hyperbole, and some of it is genuine griping. And some things (such as the imprisonment of Brad Manning) I support 100% and then some.
So honestly, I think the article is shit. More importantly, I don't believe in boycotting your vote or wasting it on a hopeless lesser candidate in protest just because you don't love either major party candidate.

Romney will be worse, so the issue is resolved for me.Drewish wrote:So Obama supporters, what (honestly) do you think of this?

Sounds like someone throwing a fit because the person he thinks would be best as no chance in hell of winning. So, he's going to get all his buddies to not vote for Romney nor Obama. Makes total sense.Drewish wrote:So Obama supporters, what (honestly) do you think of this?

It can be hard when all the choices are piss poor...
In next year's Oz election, essentially it's a choice between a labour government that has shown a fair degree of incompetence and general political sleaziness, and a liberal opposition lead by Tony Abbott, a catholic version of Romney...
The other possibilities, the Greens, have some good policies on the environment, but are on the absurd far left in most other issues...

The whole article sounds very "constipating". They're trying to relieve themselves by talking shit. It don't mean they be able to take a shit.Kristie wrote:Sounds like someone throwing a fit because the person he thinks would be best as no chance in hell of winning. Except, it's the lady in the video that calls it an "Obama phone" and she's the one who says she's voting for Obama because he got her the phone. Other people didn't say that. She did.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:As usual, the Gay Old Party is caught lying again. http://www.examiner.com/article/gop-deb ... under-bush

So an ignorant woman give Obama the credit for getting her a phone, when it was Bush, and this is a blow to the Republicans because...? Oh that's right, tribalism.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:Coito ergo sum wrote:Except, it's the lady in the video that calls it an "Obama phone" and she's the one who says she's voting for Obama because he got her the phone. Nobody expects me...
Re: 2012 US Election -- Round 2
Wow. And here I thought I wasn't voting for Obama because he went back on his promises to respect state drug laws, stop indefinite detentions, repeal the patriot act, not engage in undeclared wars, and not support an individual mandate for health care. Silly me, I must have been dreaming when I believed all those things. Glad I woke the fuck up.
Nobody expects me...
