Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
NYP quick to run story of wimpy Biden. If this is resolved in a few weeks nobody will remember the story:
Top Swedes and Finns will meet with President Biden to discuss a path forward; greater bilateral cooperation with most of NATO is a sure thing. Too bad Biden lacks the chops to compel a “yes” from Turkey, and so is sending Putin yet another message that the West will never get its act together.

Re: All Things Biden: Is It Over Yet?
We have been discussing Biden running in 2024. I can't see him not running. And he's unlikely to face a serious challenge in the primary, as that would just kill fall turnout. If he didn't run, his replacement would need his endorsement, and I can't see him endorsing anyone but Harris, who has little chance of winning. So it's looking grim for 2024.

If Trump runs, Biden runs.
If Trump is destroyed, Biden foes not run.

--run Sanders, he'll do better than Biden. Or just give us the bird again and run Clinton. --who cares
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Since we are recycling candidates, why not Obama?

In that vein 'the squad' shouldn't be ruled out.

At his age, it might be health issues that end up making him decide not to run...rasetsu wrote: ↑Mon May 23, 2022 1:00 pmWe have been discussing Biden running in 2024. I can't see him not running. Perhaps a brisk walk rather than a run?

Oh look! Biden strong, Trump was only pretending to "look" strong by ignoring all world leaders othrr than Putin.
CNN
If anything, Biden's penchant for offering a more aggressive position than his government is willing to officially adopt reflects a desire to thoroughly erase the lingering memories of Trump, swinging the pendulum so far in another direction that allies are left with little doubt of his views -- even as attempts by his team to explain them muddy things further.

CNN is spot on:
At the center is a president still trying to calibrate himself to the office. The country is pulling itself apart, pandemic infections keep coming, inflation keeps rising, a new crisis on top of new crisis arrives daily and Biden can't see a way to address that while also being the looser, happier, more sympathetic, lovingly Onion-parody inspiring, aviator-wearing, vanilla chip cone-licking guy -- an image that was the core of why he got elected in the first place.

CNN
President Joe Biden dismissed a complaint from the richest man in the world by wishing him “lots of luck on his trip to the moon.”
Biden was asked on Friday about comments from Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk, who emailed Tesla staff Thursday to announce he’d be cutting 10% of jobs because he has a “super bad feeling” about the economy, as Reuters reported.

Andrew Yang is posting almost identical posts about Biden and democrats as Musk. Musk is like 50 years old, so he is not really entitled to act like a teenage libertarian anymore. Nobody takes him seriously, other than Trumpsters on Twitter. Yang is much the same, 47, but with really no power whatsoever anymore. Networth between $834,000 and $2.4 million.

Well paid buffoon offers his trenchant analysis...
'Fox News Host: Biden Has Given Up on America Because "He's Not Even Playing Golf Like Other Presidents"'
'Fox News Host: Biden Has Given Up on America Because "He's Not Even Playing Golf Like Other Presidents"'
Far right wing entertainment cable propagandist Jesse Watters of Fox News expressed outrage at President Joe Biden Monday afternoon, claiming the leader of the free world has “given up” on his country because he doesn’t golf on the weekends.
“He was off Friday, Saturday, Sunday, he’s off today – no events – and he’s not even playing golf like other presidents,” Watters complained.
(Watters is mistaken. President Biden headed to his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home later Thursday night, worked Friday including giving a speech on the excellent jobs report. He returned to the White House Sunday morning, and worked on Monday, per his public calendar.)
“He can play at any course he wants to, and he doesn’t even play golf – it’s like he’s given up, and the American people see it,” Watters continued.
