Only 42 could apologise for inhuman practices if he thought the US was being criticised..Animavore wrote:Good to know that in times of crisis rev and 42 will still be arguing with each other.
True. Those who took shelter paid for by the state from the proceeds of theft (i.e. tax) should be deported back to the USSR!Rum wrote:(Edit: In response to ErV's last)
Gathering together for mutual protection IS Marxist!!
Do I need to remind everyone that I was actually the only one concerned about 42's safety? You were all like 'laklak this', 'laklak that'...Animavore wrote:Good to know that in times of crisis rev and 42 will still be arguing with each other.
I criticize the US all the time.pErvin wrote:Only 42 could apologise for inhuman practices if he thought the US was being criticised..Animavore wrote:Good to know that in times of crisis rev and 42 will still be arguing with each other.
Yeah, searching warrants bad taste, but Florida is authoritarian and draconian. I'm not even a bit surprised. I'm not surprised it turned out the way it did, either. After Miami practically becoming a war zone in the 80s.pErvin wrote:Only 42 could apologise for inhuman practices if he thought the US was being criticised..Animavore wrote:Good to know that in times of crisis rev and 42 will still be arguing with each other.

Hong Kong, where I lived as a kid is on roughly the same latitude as Miami and of course they get typhoons most years round about this time of the year, which are more or less the same phenomenon though they tend to be smaller and a little less destructive. The geography, heating of shallow seas and such I am sure play as big a factor in creating these deep low pressure bastards. Your area I guess doesn't have the same configuration - thus your cyclones are less intense.pErvin wrote:What I find interesting (and scary) is the latitudes that Atlantic hurricanes can occur at. Miami is around about the same latitude as Brisbane, yet we only get cyclones that far from the equator extremely rarely.
