I agree - capitalism as it stands today is little more than communism....we need total deregulation. Make strikes illegal. And privatise the NHS.

Nah. I think he's just been radicalised by certain Capital interests who've put a lot of time, energy and money into inculcating his insecurities and then preying on his fears - hijacking the normal human trendency towards loss aversion in order to convince people that living in a decent, more equitable, democratic &/or fair society is somehow against their personal best interests.

Details on how to do that can be found here.

Crumple's schtick is to post controversial nonsense for attention. It's always been that way.

Neither. He has had a kangaroo loose in the top paddock when he first joined as Atheist-Lite twelve years ago. Four hours after he registered here he posted:

I wrote that after reading another Ron DeSantis rant. I know better, but I can't help being surprised every time I see how little a Yale or Harvard education means. You can get through either without a shred of integrity.

Socialism has gotten worse in the years. That has changed. With new technology it has a new method to control the masses. Look at communist china? Only possible with modern technology - a society in genocide mode, full of all the oppressions so well known and ground zero for a economic catastrophe that must be the worlds worst ever on the horizon - without even mentioning the pandemic that might or might not have been a biological attack on every nation outside of china for some Chinese take over the world purpose/or accidental cos under socialism all bugs are equal. My guess is they tried to wipe everyone who wasn't chinese out in one go - using new technology like they still do to keep their own population virus free. If it wasn't for the flaws on the bio-logical virus of mass destruction we'd all be dead by now...and the next one they set off might not give any of the naive here or anywhere outside china that second chance
