My question is: Where is the statements by public atheist activists to distance themselves from the Chinese activities?

Why should there be? I for one approve. Freedom from religion at work. And look at the collateral benefit: Thousands of kidneys, livers, lungs et cetera are being made available to more deserving individuals.

I wish the Chinese come to Australia and set up their camps here. Our local Baptists, JWs and especially all members of the ACL (Australian Christian Lobby) need to be put under control. Would I shed a tear at the sight of Israel Folau entering one of those camps? Not bloody likely.

The more I think of it, the more I like the idea. Imagine our fundies, evangelists and associated nutcases being resettled in camps. I don't know how many of them there are, but the number could just be high enough to cause the amount of homes they vacate to burst the real estate price bubble. And of course their church's assets would be confiscated. That would make up for some of the taxes they never paid over the decades.

A group of 54 United Nations members issued a statement Tuesday defending China for building over 1,000 concentration camps to imprison, torture, indoctrinate, rape, and kill Muslims, crediting the camps with building “a stronger sense of happiness” in the country.
