I would think they'd be better off dropping those chicken mcnuggetts with szechuan sauce. They'd culturally appropriate the fuck out of the Chinese in the process.

O.k., so now Long Duk Jong is threatening to blow up Guam, and The Donald is answering by threatening to destroy North Korea with "fire and fury" (seems to be mimicking the Jonger's manner of speaking). North Korea supposedly has 60 nuclear warheads available and can deliver them via ICBM, which is something the CIA just announced and previously said would take years to develop.

Lil' Kim (or one of his sidekicks) has come trolling back hard. Big troll from the little fella. I think Don will be asleep at the moment, but it will be interesting to get his 4am tweet from the shitter about this latest wild shit from NK.

Has Trump thoroughly alarmed the Chinese yet? North Korea is a Chinese problem, and the Chinese will deal with it -- or else! :hehe:
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I'm sure Kim has weapons of mass destruction.

Someone should compile a dossier.

Well, the Chicoms are bearing the brunt of the new sanctions imposed by the UN.

There is no good way out of this mess.

I don't believe anything anymore. It's really rather disheartening.

There's a missile test. Trump says some harsh words. The Jonger makes a stupid comment about putting a ring of fire "around" Guam (obviously carefully avoiding actually threatening US territory, and just referring to doing something "around" US territory). And, then Trump says Jonger's own lingo back to him with "fire and fury."

All of a sudden, every major news outlet decides to march in lock-step, and the same reports are on channel after channel all about the new danger or heightened danger, and conveniently we only just now discover through "intelligence" that he has 60 warheads and accurate ICBM capability. We didn't know this before, but now we've just learned it. Nobody tells us how they know, of course, because other than "trust us" they would have to disclose "sources and methods." LOL. Right.... North Korea. Did you learn it from spies or leakers in the Kim government? Did you learn it from spy planes or satellites? You can't give us ANY clue on it? We don't even know if they are looking at anything more than the published media reports. We really don't. They may have conducted an "assessment" based on the latest tests , and concluded that based on the amount of Uranium they have available they could have 60 nukes. I have a strong suspicion that the "intelligence" boils down to something on that order.

I don't trust them. I don't trust the Trump administration. I don't trust the CIA or the NSA or the DIA or whatever other acronym they pull out. I'm willing to believe the DPRK wants nukes, but why wouldn't they? We proved to the world with Qadaffi that the worst thing you could do would be to show that you don't have any nukes. Then you're ripe to be taken down.

I don't know what we can do with this crazy situation, but something has to change in the approach. They are not going to get this guy to give up nukes. He won't do it. He'd be stupid to do it. I think the only way they can proceed is to negotiate with him to try to set up a peaceful transition to a representative form of government that will take place later on down the line, with assurance that the Kim family doesn't suffer retribution and humiliation. It's either that, or millions of people are going to die.

The solution is simple and relatively cheap. I mentioned it before, but neither Trump nor Obama before him listened. Carpet bomb them. Except, instead of dropping explosives, use MacDonalds hamburgers, tiny games consoles, bicycle innertubes and stuff like that. Stuff that people would enjoy, and/or find useful. Stuff they need in their real life and find difficult or impossible to obtain. After three months of this, stop bombing them with that and start dropping messages instead. "If you want more, tell your dear leader to come to the negotiating table. If you can't convince him, terminate his services." His three million soldiers will be too busy eating hamburgers and playing Nintendo type games to defend the fat fuck.
